Everyone has different Travel Styles. There is no right or wrong way to Travel, so plan your trip to your ideal standards. I tend to travel in the category of Budget to Midrange, keeping most of accommodations at an average of $50 a night, depending where I am in the world. As long as I have a decent bed (with no bed bugs, but that’s usually a gamble) and a shower with at least warm water, I am content. Especially when I’m saving extra money to travel longer.

One of my favorite accommodations is staying with locals whether through Airbnb, Guesthouses or any Local Experiences offered. Some stays may even be free through Cultural Exchange experiences such a Servas. You can also house or pet sit for free. Traveling doesn’t have to be expensive, unless you want to go the luxury route. Here are some tips on accommodations that are either free or in the budget-range.
